The rental fleet consists of new and nearly new 'ANGLER' brand fiberglass powerboats. Vessels are Yamaha powered. This boat/ motor combination has proven, over many years of experience, to be a great pairing. All of our boats are boatyard maintained and are defiantly the finest quality available in the rental industry. These vessels are not only clean and sharp in appearance but they offer safety and rugged dependability. The models available are: the 18' rated for four adults, the 20' rated for six adults and the awesome 22' that is rated for eight adults. They are equipped with pole holders and bait wells.

All boats are U.S. Coast Guard certified and are fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment. We provide the appropriate chart and pointers on what to see and where to go. In a few models we offer a 'head' for rent.

Bear Island Lighthouse just outside Northeast Harbor and an easy cruise from MYS.

Powerboat Rental Location

    Located on the Manset shore in Southwest Harbor Maine makes for an ideal starting point for your excursion but if you like we can deliver boats to you dock or mooring. Renting from Southwest Harbor offers cruising and picnicking in a truly unique area. Somes Sound, the east coasts only natural fjord, is the dynamic view from our dock. Great Harbor Marina is close at hand as well as The Hinckley Company's docks and mooring fields.

Along Somes Sound or around the Great Harbor take in the views, wild life and see some of the most attractive summer homes on the East Coast. Cruise into Northeast Harbor for lunch or a bit of shopping or to Seal Harbor with its scenic beach and picturesque harbor. Another option is the head out to Great Cranberry Island or Islesford. On Islesford, also known as Little Cranberry, there is a place to grab lunch, shop, take a relaxing stroll or enjoy the lovely Historical Society's museum just off the public dock. A wonderful day trip.

   A rate sheet is listed below. Our boats are available long term and short term. We will reserve a boat for you for weekly or longer rentals. A 50% deposit is required.
  Basic knowledge of boating and navigation is required.

Located on the Manset shore in Southwest Harbor, we are easy to find. One hour from I-95 and 20 minutes from coastal Route 1 or The Bar Harbor Regional Airport. We are on the southern side of Mount Desert Island and about a 20 minute drive from Bar Harbor. Parking is available but the Island Explorer stops just across the street.
